It was a beautiful spring day, when ES1A and EN1A set out on their excusion down to the harbor of Stockholm; Värta-Frihamnen. The teachers involved had all prepared assignments for the groups to perform upon arrival, combining Social Studies, Geography, and Natural Science. The student were taking water samples, to study the water quality, and investigated what kind of companies had established themselves down by the harbor. They looked at the goods being loaded and unloaded and tried to explain the strategic location of the harbor. Overall, it was a fun and educational day for everyone involved. /Mr. Bäckström
